Three quick reads, one of them about fruit. Back to work in three minutes.
Goodbye Avocado, hello gravitas
Meta’s AI models once carried names like Avocado, Mango and, for a while, Watermelon. That era is over. Mark Zuckerberg said on the Cheeky Pint podcast that the company simply ran out, and AI chief Alexandr Wang suggested durian might be the one fruit to avoid.
It fits a wider mood. As AI gets more serious, labs are moving from grocery aisles toward names like Mythos and Astra. We will miss Nano Banana.

Everything folds now
Foldable phones have matured from fragile prototypes, with Samsung deep into its Z Fold line and Google, Motorola and Apple’s iPhone Duo in the race. The idea is now spreading to dual-screen and rollable laptops, a folding Logitech mouse, and monitors from LG and Corsair that bend on command.
Price is the sticking point, with entry-level foldable phones near $2,000. The useful question before buying: will you actually change its shape once a week?

Tool of the day: Turn messy notes into a decision log
Paste your meeting notes into any assistant and ask for three lists: decisions made, open questions, and who owes what by when. Then add one line: “If the notes don’t say, write ‘not stated’ instead of guessing.” That last instruction is the one that saves you from inventing a deadline nobody agreed to.
